"Maatschappelijk opbouwwerk" on hollanninkielinen termi, joka voidaan suomentaa suunnilleen seuraavasti: "yhteisöllinen rakennustyö" tai "yhteiskunnallinen rakentaminen". Tämä viittaa toimintaan, jossa pyritään parantamaan yhteiskuntaa, vahvistamaan yhteisöjä ja edistämään yksilöiden osallisuutta ja hyvinvointia erilaisten sosiaalisten hankkeiden ja projektien avulla. SAAMO on maatschappelijk opbouwwerk -organisaatio, joka työskentelee yhteiskunnan epätasa-arvoisuuden ja syrjäytymisen haasteiden parissa. SAAMO organisoi innovatiivisia projekteja ja rakentaa esimerkiksi naapurustotyötä tuodakseen ihmiset yhteen ratkomaan erilaisia kohtaamiaan haasteita. SAAMO järjestää yhteistyökumppaniensa kanssa kautta matalan kynnyksen intensiivistä tukea ihmisille, jotka ovat tipahtaneet muiden palveluiden ulkopuolelle. In this blog post Jody Ray tells about her job shadowing mobility in Greece. Jody works as a Team leader for the services for young adults whom we support in non-formal learning and find their own path. This mobility was a part our Erasmus+ Accredited mobility project in the field of adult education. The job shadowing is part of the Erasmus+ Accredited mobility projects in the field of adult education (KA121-ADU).  Me and Kimmo who is the executive director of Silta-Valmennusyhdistys ry had the possibility of a job shadowing period in January 2024. Job shadowing is one of the valuable components of the Erasmus+ program, providing participants with the chance to observe and learn from other professionals in their field of interest and even for “old hands” like us, we gained valuable insights into work in a different environment. Job shadowing in the Erasmus+ programme involves spending a designated period of time observing and learning from professionals in a specific field or industry. Participants have the opportunity to gain practical insights into different work practices, processes, and organisational cultures. B
