With FITT: YOU ARE Addicted to volunteer, Better Humanity for All
How is youth work seen in Romania?
Youth work in Romania is one of the things that I admire, as many
countries consider that young people are still in the process of
maturity, so all they have to do is study or have fun, but in Romania,
the matter is different here. Life is on a plate of gold. They did not
provide him with knowledge. They did not offer him the knowledge
of life. Many young people do not know anything about this science
of life. What do I mean by that! They make children do many things
that adults do, such as teaching them programming, printing,
drawing, making films, writing stories, and cooperation, how to
work in groups and how to work individually, adherence to delivery
dates, adherence to attached work schedules, this is all what adults
do. To do so is not only a child.
What is impressive here is that the
child learns all of that and he is happy to do so, and they train
teenagers, youth and even the elderly. Youth work in Romania is not
limited to young people only, but from their point of view that you
are young from your birth to the day you die. And so, this is really
wonderful, and hats must be raised to him. Paying attention to all
ages, providing pleasure, fun, benefit, and most importantly,
teaching them how to live from the magnificence, so that you will
consider it an experience that will not be forgotten.
As per Greg, France Words " I get an opportunity to work in team
with people in general from day 1 till now. This is 1st time I work in
youth work so I'm still learning and discovering".
What activities do you have here in FITT?
Volunteering generally gives great value to the volunteers, as they
are considered the capital of the volunteer organization, and
therefore it was necessary to create a wonderful atmosphere for
the volunteers, and we try in every way to benefit them. Therefore,
the institutions organized many activities so that our volunteers
learn a lot and a lot. I have carried out many activities, and these are
some examples, for example, but not limited to…
As per Selwan, Egypt Words "
• Developing and strengthening the communities of young
people from the neighborhoods of Timisoara and Lugoj.
• Planning, implementing and promoting activities during Youth
Summer Fest.
• Developing transversal skills focusing on: teamwork, initiative
sense, event organization and communication in a foreign
language.
• Contributing to weekly reports, evaluation and dissemination
activities.
• Promoting their culture and developing themselves in a
diverse and intercultural environment.
• Promoting activities in the city center.
• Organize events and board games.
• Event organization in the park and Backyard.
• Writing articles, Testimonials, and design for FITT magazine.
As per Greg, France words " Training, workshop, conference,
meetings, cultural nights that contain food, dancing, music, drinks
from different cultures."
This is what he learned whilst he was in FITT, and this was only in a month. can you imagine
getting all that experience in that little time!!
What have you learned so far from learning by filming project?
One of the important things at the present time for any volunteer in
the world is that the volunteer knows how to portray how to explain
his opinion and make the whole world see his cause that he is
defending they see why he is volunteering why he is helping these
people many people say instead of volunteering we can just take
out money why should we To get tired and participate ourselves, so
it was necessary for the volunteers to present their opinions and
share them to tell people about what they gain by sharing what is
the change that is happening in their lives, and therefore we have
organized workshops for the volunteers so that they learn how to
spread their opinions in a modern and developed way by making
films and presenting them to the world.
As per Selwan,Egypt Words "I learned a lot about filming, about
angles, lighting, and the times in which it is desirable to shoot, how
to hold the camera, how to make movies and shoot games, how to
make a successful film, and how to direct the members of the film
to be a living example of what they feel and explain to the viewer. I
can say what I learned in the phrase "to be like a Mirror", to reflect
my feelings in the film so that the viewer can feel them as I felt
them."
Indeed, we have succeeded in presenting this. According to
the volunteer, she said that she considers filming films to be
transparent like a woman in front of the viewers, and this is exactly
what we want to share our causes that we defend. You will ask us
what is the cause that you defend, and it is better humanity for all.
