Interviewing people in FITT center and enjoying activities

On today's youth exchange we had inclusivity themed workshop and also interviewing people from FITT. Here is a short introduction of our participants in these interviews and general answers from them.

- Alex 29 Romania

- Greg 21 France

-Maria 22 Romania

-Sasu 19 Finland

-Tero 19 Finland

-Nanette 25 Finland

Now before going into the interviews im gonna tell a little bit of what we did today with the team. We did a game of "swish, boing bang" and a game where we chose a leader to walk on a path of A4 papers on ground blindfolded by listening everyone saying just one word at a time to get to the goal. There was also a game where everyone held a rope with two hands eyes closed in a circle and were told to make a square form. Lastly we had an inclusitivity themed workshop in four teams regarding what people thought inclusitivity meant and also to think diverse animal, cartoon song and a color and write these down on a paper.

I think these activities taught everyone about leadership and if we do things together and listened to each other we can achieve our goals much easier. This also helped people get to know each other a little bit better since we had to work in teams and come to conclusions together.

First question we asked was what did people think of Romania?

Romania is a beautiful country with people that have good intentions. Country is amazing regarding the landscape and community. What I like about people is that they treat you so nicely and are open minded. If you go to a smaller village people take you in their home and give you food, drink and a place to sleep in That is just how familiar they are!

Finnish people said that the first impressions Romania was quite rough and scary because of the buildings and the looks of streets but that changed after a good night sleep and city center visit.

How about first impressions of romania people?

People are friendly and fun with a good sense of humor. They are also inspirational and good looking. What an unusual answer. Also after talking with people you notice that there are lot of people with so many different backgrounds.

Then we asked from Romanians what is something to do in Romania and from Finnish people what would they like to discover in Romania.

There is a lot of historical cities to visit and many hills and forest to go hiking to. there is also many castles in Romania. Also going to a village to try some traditional food and drinks is a must do. Also visiting Bukarest was one of the things you should try.

Finnish people wanted to discover more of FITT since the building with its many rooms and hallways seemed so interesting and endless. Its like every time you enter from a door you get to another amazing workshop or hallway leading to a workshop or other spaces. Something all ready discovered was that even though someone thought buildings would look like ruins of soviet union they actually had some italian vibes to them. One wanted to see the Carpathian mountains to see local wildlife. Underground culture of Romania was also one of interests

After all this we can conclude that its’s nice to have such cultural diversity in this youth exchange and Romania is a beautiful country with interesting people and endless possibilities to explore the cities and to get more familiar with the culture.
